A TYPICAL PROJECT

The Process without a Design

Step 1

Consultation Feasibility General Layout
An on-site consultation will assess an approach to your particular landscape situation. You will assess our portfolio. After discussion of your desires and our ability to satisfy them, we may choose to move to Step 2.

Step 2

Estimate
An estimate is drawn up for the client reflecting a lump sum price and designating the details discussed during consultation. Client reviews the contract, asking any questions necessary to substantiate shared design concepts.

Step 3

Design Conceptual Drawing (optional)
Should the client wish a more exact design concept be drawn up, for a fee we will meet with any design team and produce a not-to-scale conceptual drawing to be attached to the estimate contract. The fee will cover up to 5 hours of design time.

Step 4

Execution of Contract Scheduling
The contract is approved, signifying that construction details are in order and the design process is completed. A start-up date is scheduled.

Step 5

Production
Work begins with payments made as designated by contract. Most projects run 3-6 weeks. Upon substantial completion, a final walk-through takes place prior to the final payment.

The Process with a Design

Step 1

Design Meeting
A no charge site meeting occurs with the client and/or the clientís design team. Clientís design drawings are used to generate a dialogue on the project details. Pond design is integrated with other landscaping concerns. Systems (electrical, drainage, etc.) are discussed, production concerns shared. We work with clientís team to delineate production responsibilities and glean information necessary to submit an estimate.
